今回はボン・ジョヴィの最新アルバム「FOREVER」(2024.3.14リリース)から「Legendary」を翻訳いたしました！
1984年に結成されてから早々人気に火がつき、3作目のアルバム「lippery When Wet」がバンドの出世作となりました。それから知名度は世界中に広まり、大規模なワールドツアーを行い、40周年を迎えた現在でも絶大な人気を誇っています。
日本との関りも深く、結成と同年、SUPER ROCK ’84 IN JAPANが開催され初来日した際、ファンから熱烈な歓迎を受けた感謝の気持ちを込めて、2作目のアルバム「7800° Fahrenheit」に「Tokyo Road」を収録しました。イントロには日本の童謡である「さくらさくら」のメロディが用いられています！
更に今年4月から放送されている日本ドラマ「ブルーモーメント」の主題歌とし起用されたことも話題になりましたね！
