今回の曲は Savatage(サヴァタージ)の「Sleep」を翻訳いたしました！
アメリカのヘヴィーメタルバンドで、ジョン・オリヴァ(兄)と、クリス・オリヴァ(弟)の兄弟を中心に結成されました。結成当初の名前はAvatarアヴァターでしたが、後に同名のバンドがあることが発覚し、Savatageサヴァタージに改名したそうです。
しかしジョンは1993年に、実の弟を交通事故で亡くしています。彼は非常にショックを受けましたが、先に天国へと旅立った弟のため、想いを継承していくために活動を続けていくことを決意したそうです。そして70年代に結成してから今もなお、活動を続けている素晴らしいヘヴィーメタルバンドです。
