今回は Freddie King (フレディー・キング) の曲「Same Old Blues」を翻訳いたしました♪
アルバムは1971年リリース「Getting Ready」に収録されています。
フレディー・キングはアメリカのテキサス州出身のブルース・ギタリスト。
2011年ローリング・ストーンの選ぶ史上最も偉大な100人のギタリストにおいては11位に選ばれ、2012年にはロックの殿堂入りを果たした、正にブルース界の「キング」なんです！
初のシングル曲は「You've Got To Love Me With A Feeling」
代表曲としては他に「Have You Ever Loved A Woman」「Hide Away」「I'm Tore Down」等もありますね。
憂鬱な歌詞を軽快にする見事なギターサウンドにリズム感のある歌声。これぞ正にブルースの神髄と言えるでしょう。
