世界中で知らない人はいないでしょう、伝説的キング・オブ・ポップ。
彼の曲は今でも色あせることはありません。
今回はマイケル・ジャクソンの曲「Man In The Mirror」を翻訳いたしました！
彼のグラミー賞 受賞数はギネス記録に認定されています。(13回受賞、ノミネート38回)
「ジャクソン5」で幼いころから兄弟5人で「天才シンガー」としてデビューを果たしました。(彼が生まれる前) 彼の兄たちが父親のギターを隠れて演奏していたところ、弦を誤って切ってしまい、父親に発見され、いつものように酷く叱られるところを「僕らも弾けるんだ」と立ち向かったことが「ジャクソン5」の始まりだったそうです。
その後、数々のアルバムをリリースしたり、(特に「Thriller」の売り上げ枚数はギネス記録認定)「ムーン・ウォーク」を発明したり・・・彼の伝説と革命は数え切れないほどです。
そして、数々のスキャンダルと精神崩壊を経て、2009年、大々的な復活ツアーになるはずだった「THIS IS IT」公演一ヵ月前に、自宅で急死しました。(当時50歳)
今でも健在していたら、彼の願いでもあった「世界平和」はもっと実現に近づいていたかもしれないでしょう。
